Heroes

Nitcentral's Bulletin Brash Reflections: Heroes
I've opened up Volume 5, which is Season 4 apparently. Have lost track of this show as shown irregularly in Ireland, must rent out boxset over coming weeks.

A 3-hour premiere night??!!

Sheesh!

They're gonna have a one-hour "Countdown" show, and then a two-hour Season 3 premiere. NBC is giving it the entire night!

Has anybody watched the "webstories" or whatever they're called online? I ask because I haven't and was wondering if they're worth it. The short write-ups I've read sound interesting but they may have given all the information I wanted to know. The next mini-volume start mid-February right?

Michael Dorn, who played Worf on Star Trek: The Next Generation, will appear as the President of the United States this season, according to next week's issue of TV Guide.

By inblackestnight on Thursday, January 22, 2009 - 10:10 am:

You see him in the presidential limo talking to Nathan in the preview of season four on the finale for three, which makes three former ST cast members, unless you count the actress who played BLT on Voyager directing a few eps in the first.

By ScottN on Thursday, January 22, 2009 - 12:34 pm:

So that's:

And then we have Zachary Quinto, who is not a "former ST cast member", but is a "future ST cast member".

By inblackestnight on Thursday, January 22, 2009 - 12:46 pm:

Dang, I forgot about Malcolm McDowell, I meant Nichelle Nicols, sorry if that's mis-spelled, for Mica's grandmother. Spock is mentioned a few times also but didn't make an appearance.

By ScottN on Thursday, January 22, 2009 - 12:50 pm:

OK, so that's 4 former cast members, and one future.

And I forgot about Ms. Nichols.

By inblackestnight on Tuesday, January 27, 2009 - 4:29 pm:

For whatever reason I just read through the unofficial Heroes board, before this one came out, and we can add one more Trek cast member to the show:

And now we have two more Trek alumni. (Volume 2)

Dominic Keating (Reed) and Nichelle Nichols.

There was a charity auction with the proceeds to help treat autism for some of the paintings in Heroes on the NBC website eariler this week. They were only about a dozen, and a minimum opening bid of $250 for some and $400 for others, but they were nice and the artist Tim Sale signed a few of them. Hopefully more will be for sale in the near future because there were several I wouldn't mind having.

Moderator: Season 4 Volume 5, I think I got that right, had it's premiere last night Sep 21st, just fyi.

Thanks, have included Volume 5 now, showing in IE8 but not Chrome browser for some reason.

I would post the link where I found this information but I don't know how to do that. It's appears to be official, Heroes will not be coming back in the fall and the series ends with Claire jumping off a carnival ride and healing in front of news cameras. NBC apparently wanted at least a few more chapters to close out the series but this was ultimately turned down due to cost and "an already busy fall lineup." It was a good run, and I thought the last season was ok, so hopefully a TV movie or something with give some closure, but it's doubtful.

By ScottN (Scottn) on Monday, June 24, 2013 - 10:32 am:

Jack Coleman (Noah Bennet/HRG) and Adrian Pasdar (Nathan Petrelli) are both currently guest starring on Burn Notice, with Coleman as a CIA agent, and Pasdar as a bad guy.

From Syfy Australia:
NBC is bringing back Heroes as a 13 episode mini-series called Heroes Reborn to air in 2015.

From insidetv.ew.com:
Chuck alum Zachary Levi has been cast to star in Heroes Reborn while Jack Coleman will reprise his role as Noah Bennett.
