As I mentioned elsewhere on the Space:1999 board, Tony Anholt passed away at the end of August 2002 of a brain tumour at the age of 61.

Another loss on my list of childhood heroes - he was my first serious crush.

Tony Anholt also starred with Robert Vaughn and Nyree Dawn Porter in a series called The Protectors.

He was also in the british soap opera Howards End where he met his wife.

Tony Anholt made a single appearance in the British TV comedy show of the 70's called Citizen Smith as a Marxist Basque seperatist.

The fake accent was really terrible.

He was also the covert diamond smuggler in a Christmas Special of Only Fools and Horses as I recall.

There was a syndicated series on a few years ago called Relic Hunter. It starred Tia Carrere as Sydney Fox, a kind of female Indiana Jones (she was a university professor who went around the world looking for ancient relics, and often got in trouble along the way).

Anyway, he assistant, Nigel, was played by Christian Anholt, Tony's son. Looks like he followed in his father's footsteps and became an actor (I enjoyed his character on Relic Hunter). Tony, in one of his last roles, guest starred in an episode of this show.
