This is for all the newcomers at Nitcentral. A detailed explanation of the reoccuring joke about "The Scpipts". It all started in "Star Trek-The Original Series" during the first season end credits. Instead of "Script Supervisor...George A. Rutter" some dimwit put "SCPIPT Supervisor...George A. Rutter"
I fell on the floor laughing when I first spotted this gem. (I have all the TOS DVDs)
Here are the effected episodes....(In production order)
1. The Galileo Seven*
2. The Squire of Gothos
3. Arena
4. The Alternate Factor
5. Tomorrow is Yesterday
6. Return of the Archons
7. A Taste of Armageddon
8. Space Seed
9. This Side of Paradise
10. Devil in the Dark
11. Errand of Mercy
12. City on the Edge of Forever
13. Operation: Annihilate!
A grand total of THIRTEEN EPISODES!!!!
*"Court Martial", "The Menagerie" [pt.1&2], and "Shore Leave" all have the word "Script" spelled correctly. These episodes were produced after "The Galileo Seven" and before "The Squire of Gothos.
I don't know how or why it went unchecked for so long...but it's pretty dang funny.
This nit was awarded the "Golden Scpipt Award" by Nitcentral's Commitee of Nitpickers.
I forgot to mention that "THE SCPIPTS" is the name of a fictional disease that I made up.
Symptoms: Unnoticed & obvious spelling errors.
Not to mention all the havoc caused by unsupervised scpipts running around!
I'm getting too old for this scpipt!
[sorry]
