This is an authentic psychological test. It is a story about a girl. While
at the funeral of her mother, she met a man whom she did not know. She
thought he was amazing, her dream guy, and she fell in love with him but
never asked for his number and could not find him after the funeral.
A few days later the girl killed her sister.
Question: What is her motive in killing her sister?

Answer: She was hoping that the guy would appear at the sister's funeral.
If you answered this correctly, you think like a psychopath. This was a
test a famous American psychologist used to test if one has the same
mentality as a killer. Many arrested serial killers took this test and
answered it correctly.
I didn't guess the correct answer, in case anyone's wondering...

My response was that the girl was guilt-ridden for thinking selfish thoughts and not grieving for her mother at her own funeral. Later, the guilt and grief were too much for the girl to bear, so she lashed out in a rage. Bzzzzzzzzzt. Guess I was wrong. Do I still get a nice parting gift?

I was thinking along the line that the guy was the sisters husband or that the girl found out sth about her sister in relation to the guy. So, I'm not a psychopath, or is it simply that I've read too many of these tests and riddles?
My initial thought was like constanze's, but I ruled it out, figuring that the woman in the quiz would know of her sister's significant other. Then I gave up trying to figure it out because I'm too tired and just highlighted the answer... "Huh," I mused, "that's something I never thought of!" (Good thing, that!)
I was close to constanze's answer. At first I thought it was her sister's husband but I threw that out because she'd know her sisters husband. Then I figured it must be the guy her sister is seriously dating and she did not know him until the sister signed her own death warrant by introducing him to her cold-blooded sister.
The real answer works too, except the guy get driven away in any case. (Hey, a few neuroses I can deal with but psychoses are deal breakers.)
