I'll admit to being a big fan...anyone else?
I find it witty (usually), and I love the dysfunctional family interactions--Jason & Paige, Paige & Peter, Roger & Andy...
Yes. I like it. One of the nice things is that Quincy doesn't talk, and does regular iguana things.
And the way Jason tortures Paige with Quincy
I like FoxTrot lots. Amend has a real gift with oddball-yet-loveable characters, and the storylines occasionally even flirt with brilliant (the iFruit computer - 'Hug me!'; Paige lost in the Land of Christmas Specials, etc.).
Unfortunately if you read it in big chunks (ie the collections) it can seem pretty static. It's established a level of excellence; now the characters need to move on from their repetitive schticks to make it one of the all-time greats.
I wonder how it would affect the strip to mature Jason a little. Not too much. Maybe just have him start liking girls and going out with the one girl who likes him. And how Paige would react to her geeky little brother having a girlfriend while she is still has no boyfriend.
That's kind of sort of the case with Eileen, though Jason is mostly in denial about it. I don't really care for it as (especially with the more recent storylines) it's gotten to be a fairly one-dimensional relationship.
For those who may not have heard, Foxtrot is going to cease dailies come January.

Oh wow. That'll be the end of an era. Hopefully, most papers (including the one I get) will keep reruns going.
