There is no place like a car for the holidays

Nitcentral's Bulletin Brash Reflections: The Kitchen Sink: Cars: There is no place like a car for the holidays

My chiropractor is next to a mall and I just want to say:

This is a computer. If you are reading this you can buy anything very cheaply without creating traffic woes for me.

Here are links to http://www.walmart.com/ , http://www.amazon.com , http://www.ebay.com/ , http://www.vermonteddybear.com/ , http://www.zales.com/ ,etc.

My gym is behind a grocery store, and across the road there is another grocery store. The Wednesday before Thanksgiving the parking lot was full. Parking lot traffic to get to the gym was horrible.

As a public service announcement I like to say that the last Thursday in November is kind of a big food holiday and you might want to prepare a bit for it.

Now, please get off the road and out of my way.

Thank you.

Berry, ol pal, you have to remember you live on a planet with 6,481,354,420 other people. You might experience a little crowding at times. :-D

Or you can always move to the Sahara ... pretty empty in some areas ... :)

Alternatively, how about getting a decent public transport system? (Didn't you get elected to some public office, or were you running only?)

If you want to see congested, try walking in the pedestrian zone or one of the department stores in Munich during the 4 Saturdays before Christmas - the pedestrian zone and Marienplatz (Town square), which is pretty full normally already, is packed with the Weihnachtsmarkt (Christmas market) wooden stalls, so people have to squeeze through. And the stores aren't as spacious as American malls... all aisles are narrow, since inner-city-space is too expensive to waste on big empty spaces or aisles... I really don't understand why people call shopping "fun". Most people I know think Christmas shopping is a hassle. (Strolling through a half-empty Weihnachtsmarkt can be fun, but not the stores.)

hey could be worse....your chiropractor could be IN the mall.

My advice to you is to start drinking heavily....
