Ok, KAM beat up on me for a trivia question on This May Seem Dumb...
If you just want to post a trivia question instead of a "seems dumb", here's your chance!
Munching on cookie (chomp . . . chomp . . . chomp . . .)
Okay, here's one of my favorite baseball trivia questions. On June 23, 1917, Ernie Shore pitched a perfect game for the Boston Red Sox in relief after the starting pitcher was thrown out of the game for arguing a call on the very first batter. What was the name of this Red Sox pitcher who was tossed enabling Shore to pitch his masterpiece?
George Herman (Babe) Ruth
Hey! Margie wins a cookie! (slightly chewed)
What actress has played two Bond women?
Maud Addams
Chocolate chip or Ginger snap cookies, Wes?
Ursula Andress was in Doctor No & Casino Royale.
Casino Royale doesn't count. Also, was she a "Bond Girl" in CR?
1. It featured James Bond.
2. It was "based" on the Bond novel by Ian Fleming. (Just like Moonraker & Man With The Golden Gun were "based" on his novels.)
3. For years Ursula Andress was considered to be the only actress to play 2 different Bond women.
Objections:
1. It was produced by a different studio. However, I believe a merger cancelled that objection.
2. It was a comedy, unlike the serious dramatic films like Moonraker & Octopussy.
Ok, ok.... pick you favorite cookie flavor too!
Chocolate chip.
Can I have a cookie too? I'm hungry.
I haven't eaten in a few hours, and i'm darned hungry. I think i'll take a chocolate chip. But I'll need to go get some milk first.
Trivia Question...... What surname have Charector's played By Ron Howard and Ned Beatty Shared? Bonus points for naming the Real Life Father & Son they were named after.
To answer the question Slugbug asked six and a half years ago - Caldwell. Howard played it in a TV movie "A Boy Called Nuthin'" and Beatty had a recurring character on "Hawaii Five-O" by that name.
Maud Adams was also in A View To A Kill, ever so briefly. She was a background player in the San Francisco scenes.
In what TV series does guest star Margot Kidder say "Superman" several years prior to the Superman movie in which she co-stars?
I'm gonna go with "Baretta".
