So I was at one of the Anime forums I am a member of and I got one of those messages in the old PM box saying someone was complaining.This got me to thinking,why don't people tell you directly that they might be offended by what you say instead of waiting and telling it to the Mods?Also why do the Mods wait so dern long before they tell you?
Wouldn't it make better sense if whoever was offended simply PMed you and got it out in the open so you could deal with whatever the problem is right off the bat?
So in order to have some peace in the matter I have decided to stop posting at that particuliar
forum until after the New Year.Hopefully the two week layoff will help whoever was complaining to chill.
(btw:I can guess who it was.)

I sometimes do something similar because I feel like an annoying person might not change his ways because of anything I say. The response might be more effective coming from somebody in authority. That's just my feeling about it, sometimes.
I don't know if others necessarily have the same feeling about it.
The Mods wait along time, maybe they're busy with other stuff?

I don't know why nobody has answered for four years--it seems bizarre being the first to respond in so long. I hope my answer is helpful.
