In TIME Magazines, in the early 40's, my great-uncle Will Lang was a staff correspondent and a Bureau Head in Algiers, Italy & Berlin.

There are some issues of TIME, they list him as "WILL LONG" instead of "WILL LANG"

Many years ago, there was a sign in the front of our local grocery store that was supposed to be advertizing a special price on "Morton Salt", but someone messed up so it said "Moron Salt" instead. :)

Not a misspelling, but our Time-Warner digital on-screen cable guide always gets play dates for the Trek episodes "The Empath" and "Elaan of Troyius" reversed. When "The Empath" is on, the guide reads "Elaan" and vice versa.
