Did you ever have a moment where you decided to do something...for no particular reason, and have it turn out, that your decision was the correct decision?
If so, list it here.
My trip to South Dakota.
My original plan was to see Mount Rushmore on Wednesday and the Crazy Horse Monument on Thurdsay.
However, for no reason, I made the last minute decision to do both on Wednesday.
My "Killer Instinct" paid off...for it rained most of the day on Thursday.
If I hadn't "listened" to my "Killer Instinct", I would have missed seeing the Crazy Horse Monument...for I was leaving on Friday
Chicago Star Trek Convention 2010
My original plan was to get the autographs of Max Grodenchick and Armin Shimmerman at the same time.
However, when I saw Max Grodenchik signing autographs in the Vendors Area, I chose to get his autograph NOW...right when I saw him.
My "Killer Instinct" paid off again...for Max left the Convention the night Armin Shimmerman was signing his autograph.
If I hadn't "listened" to my "Killer Instinct", I'd miss getting Max's autograph.
Good on ya, John! I would have loved to meet all those Trek people!
Too bad you'll never see Robert Beltran - he *never* does Cons, as he hated worked on VGR in the last few seasons and he doesn't get along with Kate Mulgrew to boot!
And his career has really suffered as a result, I've heard. Oh well!
The Robert Beltran Gripe Generator:

Thanks, Todd. Robert said some interesting things, I agreed with a lot of it. Was he ever quoted talked about how he felt about working with Jeri Ryan during the truly idiotic "C/7" angle in the last two seasons?
And why is it that he doesn't like Kate Mulgrew? I heard about that years ago, I just never knew why.
I kinda feel sorry for the guy, in a way. Thanks to his outspoken-ness, it probably cost him work in many other things. And that's too bad!
Hey, wait a minute.....is that whole "Gripe Generator" a joke? It sure looks like it, now that I've gone through a few of Beltran's so-called "quotes" that the website generated.
All the quotes are essentially saying the same thing, there's no orginality involved there. I think the whole thing is just a parody of Robert's tendancy to complain about VGR's sub-standard quality.
I thought about it, and that's what I found out, it's all a big joke! It's pretty funny, though.
Robert Beltran did do a convention once in Vegas, but he did not appear on stage.
I wonder why that is, and why he even bothered to show up, seeing how he hates Trek so much.
One thing he liked was working with Virgina Madsen in "Unforgettable" but that's the *only* nice thing I ever heard him say about the whole thing!

The link does not work, John.
What was in it, why Beltran hates Mulgrew?
The article confirmed the fact that Beltran does attend Conventions but does not appear on stage.
However, I read another article that stated that all of his bitterness is "in the past"
Just look up "Robert Beltran interview" on the Web
Maybe after being in a string of cr*ppy Sci-Fi Channel movies, Voyager must look pretty good by comparison to him now.
Seriously, the Sci-Fi Channel needs to stop making movies. What moron convinced them that they could do it in the first place.
1. They haven't the budget for it. Most of the F/X are pure garbage.
2. They all seem to have the same plot.
Time to pack it in. If Sci-Fi wants to show movies, show the classics that used to run when the channel was founded.
What network did "Mega Shark Vs. Giant Octopus" originally appear on? Former pop singer Deborah (Debbie) Gibson did that one, plus one other.
And yes, they were both garbage, plot and special effect-wise. But Gibson looked pretty good, I must admit!
Robert Beltran was at Dragon Con in September and did appear on stage.
He basically said he looks back on Voyager with good memories now.
John's link works if you remove everything in the address up to the second 'http': link
However, I didn't see anything on the page about Beltran not appearing on stage.
