I'm not a fan so I don't watch it, other than the last few minutes while waiting for the next show to come up, but there's a girl in the newest season, which debuted last night who's from here in Chico, although she wasn't born here. She's Jessica Smith. Just dig that crazy hairdo!

The hairdo is cool, but I really dig the tattoo.

Mitchell Olson, the 7-foot tall aspiring singer songwriter who was voted off in the fourth episode of Surivivor: Australia (the second season is originally from the South, but has made his home in Union City, NJ, where I live. I saw him once on the van to New York (he worked as a temp, last I heard), and he showed up at the movie theater in Edgewater one night where we were having a screening.

Here's a new article of her in the free weekly paper, the Chico News & Review. Apparently, she's back in town but is of course under a gag order about the show so I dunno how far she got since I dunno how far in advance they tape all the episodes. It'd be way cool if she's the big winner, though.

A Mainer won Survivor: Gabon!

I forget his name, but he's a high school teacher here in the Pine Tree State. It was in the local paper this week!

How about that!

Another Mainer was on the season of Survivor: Redemption Island that just ended, I forget her name. She made it to the final three, and was eliminated.

That's really the only reason I know about anything that happens on Survivor, if someone from Maine is ever on it!
