You GOTTA read this! Right now.
Given the closing of PM, I'm posting here.
Today is Internet Blackout Day in protest of SOPA and PIPA.
Either of these bills could do irreparable harm to the Internet as we know it, along with eroding free speech rights, giving corporations extra-judicial powers, and completely eroding due process.
Google, Wikipedia, and Reddit are among some of the bigger names participating. Go to their sites to learn more.
I thought Legal Musings was the one left without a mod. PM should still be open with Luigi as it's mod.
I've already signed, through Google, the petition against SOPA and PIPA.
When I tried to go to PM, I got

This discussion is closed and can no longer be accessed.
Huh. Luigi?
Got the same thing, Scott. Guess it is closed.
I can't get into PM either, except through the Adminstration area. I thought this was because I closed the top-level board due to the recent spambot attack, but I restored the Add a Message capability, and still can't get in. I'll email Phil. Maybe he accidentally closed off PM instead of LM.
As for Wikipedia, you can still access its articles: If you hit the Escape key just right as a Wikipedia article is loading, you can bypass the blackout page. It may require a few tries, but I got it easily on the first and second try, and is relatively easy. You just have to press Esc after the article comes on, but before the blackout screen appears. However, this is only for viewing, and not editing. I can't get in to edit, even though I'm an admin.
You can also get it on mobile phones, for which the site has not been blacked out.
Okay, the "reading" settings were messed up for some reason. Phil fixed it.
