Y'know, we've long needed a simple board where we can post links that just plain caught our eye or amused us without being either selfless or shameless, or specifically belonging to the Sink of a specialized board. This I think should fit the bill. Please, only stuff you're sure other people would find interesting.
Let's start 'er off with a bizarre little man who's taken it upon himself to review every item on the Taco Bell menu...past or present.

Hey, nostalgia-lovers! Remember the way Jack in the Box cups used to look, the great toys you used to get in Cap'n Crunch boxes, or the racist Funny Face Drink Mixes of the 60's?

Tom Hanks also went by a store in Pacific grove, Ca once a apon a time..a movie was filmed in Pacfic grove? I can't remember the title or plot.
He was at a screening we did for an upcoming movie that he produced, which will either be called Brian Jackson Knows Everything or Starter for Ten. After the screening started, I was out in the lobby, eating the sandwich that i bought for dinner. Out of the bathroom comes a guy in a baseball cap, who was apparently one of the studio people from the screening. As he's walking back to the auditorium, he sees me eating by the counter of a closed concession stand, and jokingly points to me and says, "Whadaya doing?!" It was Hanks. And even though I knew he produced the film, I didn't know he'd be there, as he wasn't, IIRC, on the guest list.
My cowoker Nick related an earlier incident in which he spotted Hanks and his wife wife in the auditorium where Nick was watching a movie. Hanks was sporting the long Cast Away beard he had at the time, and after the movie ended, he and his wife starting making out in order to avoid autograph seekers as they filed out of the theater. Nick was the last one out, and as he passed by the duo, said to them that they could stop because everyone was gone.
I've updated the picture in "My Profile".

I've met her too. It was about a decade or so ago. I didn't get to pose with her, but when she signed my copy of Imzadi, she had a low-cut top, and as I stood over her table...well, let's just say she looked hot.
I can only imagine!
I have a pic of her from the internet with a low-cut top. NNNN-NICE!
