Grey Domino was secretly Hugh Standish ace racing motorist, but who fought crime as a masked adventurer.

NNANJAO. Apparently the Australian publishers thought the book would sell better if they tried to make readers think it was a reprint of a British comic strip rather than a local job, hence the hero being an Englishman in England.
Geeze, how bad a reputation did local comic makers have in Australia?

Terror On The Road Grey Domino #17 (Atlas Publications)

Soooooo... the British Army is testing an armoured car, the Dragon, near the village of Forthfen where "The area has been carefully screened!" and yet the armoured car gets stolen.
Geeze, ever hear of posting guards or just conducting tests in an enclosed camp?

Sergeant Roach was the inside man who helped crooks steal the Dragon then they shoot him and plan to burn down the garage where they have the Dragon. The Grey Domino shows up and they knock him out and plan to let him burn as well. Carnac tells his men "not to get kerosene near the bodies! If, by some chance, portions of clothing are found after the fire! We do not want traces of kerosene to be found on them! The police may suspect foul play!"
1. Wouldn't the kerosene burn first?
2. Sergeant Roach's body is riddled with bullets. Wouldn't that make the police suspicious?
