This message is specific to Amazon Prime (AP) and the show Quantum Leap (QL). Feel free to copy this and move to the QL board, because posting is currently not an option there.
Other shows may have the same problem which is this: Some episodes are out of order.
First of all AP only offers the first 2 seasons of QL. I don't remember the original airings of those seasons, so it may have also been out of order. However according to the episode guide, there are 2 shows from the 2nd season that AP moved to the first.
"What Price Gloria?" and "A Portrait for Troian" were moved from the 2nd season to the end of the 1st season.
Also, most shows begin by showing Sam's previous leap and then later end by showing Sam's next leap. Some shows seem to have been edited due to the changed order.
Following are some notes:
"The Color of Truth" and "The Camikazi Kid" both begin and end correctly. This will be important later.
"Play It Again, Seymour" ends with Sam leaping to "What Price Gloria?" when it should go to "Honeymoon Express" (or to Sam as a fireman).
"What Price Gloria?" has the correct beginning and end. But this can be confusing if watched out of order.
"A Portrait for Troian" has the correct beginning (confusing if viewed out of order), but at the end Sam leaps to "The Camikazi Kid". "The Color of Truth" also showed Sam leaping to the Kid which was correct.
"The Honeymoon Express" correctly begins with Al in the future. It then shows Sam as a fireman rescuing a cat, which was not part of any other episode, just prior to his leap into the newlywed. The leap into the fireman or the newlywed should have been at the end of "Play It Again, Seymour".
"Disco Inferno" is missing from AP.
"The Americanization of Machiko" has the correct beginning but ends with "The Color of Truth" instead of "What Price Gloria?"
"Catch a Falling Star" ends correctly by showing "A Portrait for Troian", but that show was moved.
"Animal Frat" begins incorrectly when Sam leaps from "The Camikazi Kid" instead of "A Portrait for Troian". At the end of the actual 'Kid', Sam correctly leaped to "Play It Again, Seymour".
