A happy and healthy New Year to all!
Hi everyone!!!
I know this post will sound spammy, but please, I ask you to finish reading it.
As most you may (or may not) know, Mrs. ScottN recently passed away from ALS -- Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease.
In her memory, I am participating in the ALS Association's annual Walk to Defeat ALS. I am asking you to open your hearts (and wallets) to support this cause. If you would like to sponsor me, please visit my walk page at http://web.alsa.org/goto/scott-neu.
I would be very grateful for your support.
Thank you,
ScottN
P.S. I cleared this with Phil before posting.
Yes, he did! And I said, if Nitcentral can help, I'm for it because ScottN is one of our own... and he has been for a long time!!!
All power to your ankles, Scott. I hope the walk goes well.
Given this for a good cause you could even crosspost it over in Selfless Plugs.
Good luck!
Update:
Thanks to you and other people, I have personally raised almost $3000, and Sue's Squad had raised over $4000!!!!
Thank you all!!!
ScottN
The walk was today. Thank you all for your support.
Well done, Scott. I hope the feet have recovered.
I'm a new uncle!!!
No, no kids anywhere... my nephew got engaged today!!
I'm a great uncle. My nephew and his wife had a daughter in November. She shares my birthday, too. It's a happy and sad occasion for me. My dad died this past April, without ever knowing his first great-grandchild was on the way.
Mazel tov to both of you!
Merry Christmas and Happy New year.
Wishing everyone a happy Pesach.
And I'd like to wish everyone a Happy Palindrome Week, given that every date this week is a palindrome.
Buh?
Tim, for those using US notation (M/D/Y), every day this week is a palindrome. Does not apply to those using D/M/Y notation.
My oldest nephew got married today. I'm not THAT old, am I?
Yeah, you probably are. My sister turns 50 in a week, which is ridiculous seeing as she's only 16 (at least in my mind!).
