Bogeyman was a novelist turned crime-fighter after the world thought him dead, (and the fact that he dresses like The Spirit means absolutely nothing.)

Triple Cross Merry Comics

Page 7, Panel 4. The open-topped cab suddenly has a top.

Page 7, Panel 5. The open-topped cab now has glass over the opening, Although the driver is sent tearing through the top.
Really cheap metal or is it supposed to be a rag-top?

Page 8, Panel 3. Monte says, "We stick as long as long as Dan wants us to"
Doesn't seem to be any reason for the repetition.

Dirty Dan says he's going to knock off Monte & Belle before he knocks off the Bogeyman and he shoots Monte while saying this, but doesn't actually shoot Belle.
Crooks. You can't trust anything they say. ;-)

Page 10. The artist has some trouble with the door. The handle & keyhole of the door is on the right side, but in Panel 2, Dirty Dan opens the door and the hinges are on the right side. Then in Panel 3 Dirty Dan discovers the Bogeyman had tied a doll to the handle so it's eye was visible through the keyhole, but if the hinges are still on the right side, then the doll is tied to the wrong side, although if the doll is tied to the correct side, then the hinges have switched sides and the door now opens outward.

Speaking of which, the Bogeyman managed to tie the doll's hair to the doorknob while he himself was tied up. Which may not be impossible, but is certainly difficult.

Page 10, Panel 4. The Bogeyman, still tied up, jumps out a window.
Previously, the Bogeyman had three ropes on him, around the ankles, around his wrists and around his upper arms, but here the rope around his upper arms is missing, although it returns for the next two panels.

Page 10, Panel 6. Bogeyman says, "Take her to th station..."
The not th.

Page 11, Panel 3. The money Dirty Dan paid the Mayor says "Graft" on a number of the bills.
Just making it simple for the readers or did Dirty Dan have a sense of humor about how he set-up the mayor?

Oh, man. Dirty Dan's disguise is a pair of dark glasses, a blind sign, a tin cup and a cane... and it works.
And to think Benn thought the Official Marvel Disguise KitTM (trenchcoat, hat & glasses) was bad.

Page 12, Panel 5. Bogeyman says, "Dead as a doornail-- to corn a phrase!"
I always heard it as 'to coin a phrase' not "corn a phrase".
