Another part of my youth just passed away-Ron Lundy died on 3/15/10. He was on WABC from 1965 until the station dumped their music format for all talk in 1982. Then, like a lot of his contemporaries (Dan Ingram, Harry Harrison, "Cousin Brucie" Morrow) he surfaced at WCBS-FM, where he spun discs from 1984-1997. More on Mr. Lundy here.

Kevin Metheny has died. Found slumped over his desk tonight at Cumulus' KGO/San Francisco, where he arrived as PD just last month. Likely heart attack. Confirmed by several reliable sources. Dubbed "Pig Virus" by Howard Stern at WNBC and called "Pig Vomit" in the movie.
