The current storyline in the Dick Tracy newspaper strip features characters from several other strips, such as The Spirit, Little Orphan Annie and Terry And The Pirates.

One has to wonder if anyone born after 1980 has a clue as to who any of these characters are.

The Spirit stories have been reprinted through the years and even has new stories tried by a couple of publishers.

There was an attempted revival of Terry and the Pirates in, I think, the late '80s/early '90s.

Little Orphan Annie only ended it's run sometime this century and I believe Annie was made a part of the Dick Tracy strip.
