So I came to nitcentral today as I do most every day, and my browser asked if I wanted to store my password. That was odd since it should already be stored, so I hit yes.
But the instant I did so, I noticed it asked if I wanted to store John A Lang's password.
I am not John A Lang, nor am I in the same country as him. I'm using my own personal computer which never leaves the house and which I completely reformatted and reinstalled an OS on last month.
How does this even happen?
Posting this to alert everyone to a very odd but potentially dangerous security problem, and also to see if it actually posts. (Note: it doesn't. I have to enter my usual name and password.)
And note that I have no idea what the password is. It appears only as asterisks.
Its happened to me. I was John A. Lang'd too
So was I. I'm not anymore.
Well, this site seems to be slowing breaking down (look how long it sometimes takes for new posts to show up).
I'm not surprised at these malfunctions (although I have not experienced this particular one, not yet at least).
Hmmm, let me try. Well, no asking me if I'm John A. Lang.
I'm John A. Lang, and so is my wife!!
It's a Doctor Who thing...
