a person using her car seat belt died in it..she struggled to get out but couldnt. she was 30ish and the cops came too late. If she didnt have it on.., she'd be out and in the hospital, alive.local news. last year.

Ask any first responder, that's an oddball case. Seat belts save many many more lives than not wearing them. In general most fatal injuries in accidents occur when you're thrown out of the car, or bounced around inside.

The other day I saw someone attempt to make a left turn from Green St. onto Elm St. in McHenry at 3:45 PM...which is illegal between 7AM-7PM.
People were honking at this woman...trying to warn her not to do it...but she turned left anyway.
I wonder if anyone reported her.
BTW...you can only go STRAIGHT when you're on Green St.
My s0n, he got a gift , a notebook,he was going to Uc Santa Barbara in the fall, and he was
at ----------- a spanish restaraunt, went to order and his notebook and backpack was stolen in 2 seconds...
he had to call 911,make a pd report etc.
