Has anyone ever read the Married with Children comics. They did a fanboy special where Bud visits a comic mart. It's an excellent and light hearted look at the comic industry.
Also essential reading, is a book puclished in the UK. Its quite hard to get hold of, called 'How to be a Superhero'. The forst time I read this I was in tears laughing. Examples are the section on how to get superpowers. One noted example of that is 'Get your parents shot dead in front of your eyes, after all it worked for you-know-who'.
Actually, How To Be A Superhero can be ordered in the USA from NBM Publishing.
Oh, AL!
I didn't know that. Has anyone on the board read it? If so what do you think of it? I think it had a fairly short print run in the UK but I enjoyed it.
The Love Line Married... With Children vol. 2 #1 (Now Comics)
NANJAO. Reading this I found myself comparing it to the licensed TV comics that Western Publishing did and, uh, yeahhhhhh... Biiiiiig differences between TV shows of the 1960s and the '80s/'90s.
Oddly enough this book was Approved by the Comics Code Authority while Western never submitted books to the CCA.
Page 6, Panel 3. Marcy says, "If a divorce seems to traumatic".
Too not "to".
They actually did a MWC comic!?
Yep. Strange, but true.
Indeed.
