I am a fan of the novel "To Dream in the City of Sorrows" and was pleased to finally meet Sech Turval and Sech Durhan. Does anyone know if the novel was written before or after this episode?

I would imagine it was written before the episode as I had the novel before the big Wolf 359 con in Blackpool in 1997, and since that was the con where JMS finally announced that they had managed to secure the Fifth season......
