Awesome idea for an episode, and great casting for Mack and Bo.

I really enjoyed this episode, especially the poignancy of the final scene: Mack and Bo deciding that all in all it had been a good day, then them coming across Franklin walking amongst all the dead bodies from the battle, then the camera panning up to the huge sign saying "Welcome to Babylon 5". Joe sure knows how to hit you where it'll hurt the most.

However, I don't understand why Lochley and Garibaldi would have a heated discussion about his covert role in front of two technicians. There's been a big discussion of this on the Lurker's Guide and Joe won't be told that it shouldn't have happened. Personally, I felt that Lochley and Garibaldi should not have talked so openly in front of the guys.

Ruminations:

- The look that Mack and Bo give Delenn and Sheridan when they're kissing is priceless...

This is a typical problem that turns up in most Sci-Fi series from Startrek to Babylon 5 and even shows up in the new Battlestar Galactica. In essence it is a tendency to discuss sensitive or important matters in public areas, usually heavily trafficked corridors, rather than in briefing rooms.

(Countless times the command staff on DS9 have talked about or worked on sensitive matters on the Promenade or in Quarks Bar. B5's staff sometimes have a nasty habit of talking about sensitive matters in corridors as well - although not quite to the same degree as in B5. BSG has one of the worst examples when Adama and Tigh have a long conversation in the Mini-series about how Cylons now look human in a corridor, eventually deciding that this information should remain highly classified. Unfortunately not only is there a medic standing right over Adama the whole time, but half the crew of the ship has been walking past for the entire conversation....)
