What a way to end a season. I was in schock really. Everything seemed to happen all at once. And that scene where the White Star slams into Z'Ha'Dum hits ya' like a take.

I knew Anna would never deliberately work for the Shadows!

Some very moving moments with John and Delenn.

And a huge surprise with Garibaldi's disappearance. That definently had me in shock.

For once, something that Kosh predicted didn't happen. In "Interludes and Examinations" he tells Sheridan that if the Vorlon ships intervene in the war, Kosh will not be with Sheridan at Z'ha'dum. Well, if that wasn't Kosh's voice telling Sheridan to jump, I am a piece of flarn!

I loved this one. The apex of the show IMO. Its one of the few shows to challenge the viewer with the idea that just because one side is the bad guys doesn't mean the other is the good guys.

I noticed when Sheridan says to Justin 'Why not just kill me', he relies that it doesn't work like that,. that Sheridan is what is called a nexus and that someone will just take his place. Interesting point there, Justin, and therefore, the Shadows seem to take that pretty much for granted. Compare that to 'Come the Inquisotor' where Delenn pretty much had to explain the same thing to Jack. The Vorlons probably knew, but needed confirmation. Interesting.

One thing I recently noticed - what happened to all the ships that were guarding B5 when the Shadows appeared? There were none there.

What's up with Justin's comment about the Earth Alliance being "the first to rebuild" after the Shadow War? I mean, since the Earth Alliance isn't involved in the Shadow War, they wouldn't have much to rebuild anyway. That is, unless he was referring to the Earth Alliance civil war.

We dont know what the shadows plans were for species currently uninvolved in the war. I feel it entirely possible that had Sheridan and Delen not driven them away when they did, the war would have escalated to include others such as the Earth Alliance.

I think the rebellion in Earthforce altered the Shadows' plans for the Earth Alliance. Had Hague and Sheridan not managed to put out the evidence against Clark, Earthforce might have been more compliant. Earth might have done what the Centauri did, attacking their neighbors all around them, getting more secret assistance from the Shadows. For some reason, they did not send the Battlecrabs to take out any rebelling fleets or colonies for him. Maybe Clark told the Shadow representatives, he wanted to deal with the rebels himself, to weed out the weak in his jurisdiction before his purified Alliance could expand. They would surely approve of that thinking.

This raises something of a nit. Anna makes it clear that the Shadows believe that if anything Vorlon lands on their homeworld destruction will follow.
Logically this would mean that even if the Shadows and Vorlons had some agreement about not attacking each other directly, they would never have allowed Kosh on Z'ha'dum. So regardless of Sheridan asking for Vorlon help or not Kosh would not have been able to go there to help him even if he was alive.

Here's my question. Where was Draal while Shadow Vessels were surrounding the station? Ivanova asks someone in C&C to contact Draal and it's stated that the Shadows are jamming all of the com-channels. All well and good, but what is Draal doing during all of this? He can see things 500 light-years away so he clearly must know that a fleet of Shadow vessels just surrounded the station and are jamming the com-channels. So what was he waiting for? "well I haven't heard from B5 in a while, but I guess they can handle those Shadow ships since they haven't contacted me yet." Even if the com-channels are down you'd expect him to just suddenly project himself into the middle of C&C "so, what's going on here?"
