This was a nice change of pace. The past several episode had been so serious, it was nice to get from that for a while. I thought the Grey 17 situation was humorous, and certainly worth the boring beginning. And I liked Garibaldi's "Why is it always thin-air" comments.

The subplot with Marcus and Neroon was great. I knew Marcus was brave, but offering himself up for Delenn like that was nothing short of heroic.

Did anyone else automatically think of Tolkien's Lord of the Rings when Marcus spoke the Ranger vows?

Yup, Marcus sounded like Gandalf in the Mines of Moria facing the Balrog.

THREAD DRIFT ALERT

The creature that the cult has, a Zaarg, is described by Garibaldi as "the most dangerous alien in this sector". This just opens up the question "How did these guys get such a dangerous creature on Babylon 5 to begin with?"

I'm sorry, but the main plt regarding Grey 17, is IMHO opinion absolute rubbish. Either that or it didn't come across very well.
I did think the subplot with Delenn's taking up the role of Entil'Zha was masterful though (I like Delenn so sue me), and how Lennier gets round his promise to Delenn.
Must admit though, knowing what she is like, I thought that she would have thought in that as well.
Excellent line.

I have a hard time believing that revolvers will still be standard issue in the late 22nd century (which is when I guesstimate Garabaldi's grandma was on the Boston Police). I'm not sure that they're standard issue to American police forces anymore now. Plus, since it'll probably be a while before PPGs get invented, you think that firearm technology would develop over time. What would a cop be doing carrying such an antique as a sidearm?

personal favorite? Maybe a family heirloom, Garibaldi did say he came form a long line of street cops. Maybe one had their life saved by that gun and everybody started passing it down.

When Lennier brings out the box of Sinclair’s possessions, it includes his Ranger brooch. However, Sinclair was wearing his brooch when he went to Babylon 4. Somehow I wouldn’t have expected the Rangers to have a large selection of brooches.

Delenn tells Sheridan that her mother entered the Sisters of Valeria after Delenn’s birth and that she only saw her twice after that. In Confessions and Lamentations, she told the Markab girl about the time she got lost in a city and found refuge in a temple. After her vision of a figure which spoke to her, she said that her parents came running into the temple. Lucky that this adventure happened on one of the only two times that her mother was around!

They're normally not that dangerous, but after spending years trapped in Gray 17 listening to Jeremiah go on and on... the creature went mad...

I wonder if they fixed up Grey 17 and started using it?
