I liked this episode. It was certainly a decent change of pace from the past five or six episodes. And BTW, I agree with Marcus on Kosh being Merlin. As for Morgana Le Fey (in case you don't remember he was comparing the B5 family to the round table), did anyone else automatically think Lyta?

Very nice episode. Really, I think Marcus should have said that G'Kar could be Gawain("Arthur" does dub him "the Red Knight").

Great line: "Wouldn't it be terrible if everything that happens to us happened because we deserved it? I take great comfort in the fact that the universe is unfair." --Marcus to Franklin after the doctor asks him if he ever thinks that life is unfair.

OK, if Sheridan is Arthur, then who is Guenivere and who is Lancelot? [I have my own ideas about this... ;)]

Some people say this episode is tosh, but I enjoyed it. The oly thing is that early on when McIntyre starts on about the Lady of the Lake, it was so obvious who he was referring to.

The question is...did Delenn find it in her heart to forgive McIntyre?

By Sophie Hawksworth on Wednesday, March 13, 2002 - 1:13 pm:

Morgana Le Fey:
I guessed she was Talia. (I didn't know we weren't going to see her again.)

Next guess - Sheridan's wife tempting him to join the Shadows, as Arthur's sister wanted him to join support Pagans instead of Christians.

I think Delenn did forgive McIntyre. For one thing, she would do what she could to help him forgive himself, which is ultimately what had to happen for him to recover. For another, later episodes indicate that she doesn't look back on her involvement in that war with any sort of joy. She probably saw a kindred spirit in him, another person who's beaten himself up for years because of his responsibility for all that death and loss. She might not have been able to aid herself, but she could aid him.
On the subject of which B5 character matches up to Sir Lancelot, I believe the answer is Lennier. His love for Delenn is similar, and leads him to make several odd choices later in the series. As for Morgana, I would have to say Winters is a better choice than Anna, mostly due to the combination of sex and betrayal.

Marcus commented that "I think we all know who Mordred is." I'm not entirely sure myself. I'd say either Londo or Morden, but what would others say?

And of course Vir would be Sir Robin.

As a postal employee, it's probably no surprise that my favorite line from this episode was, "Yeah, but this is the Post Office. We could get into real trouble."

Gordon, I hope you're "gruntled", and not disgruntled! :O

I am Arthur... King of the Matrix.. No... that's NEO.
Does anyone think that the corridor that Arthur finds the sword in looks like that back door hallway in the Matrix Reloaded.

Lancelot would be Lenner, both where trusted right hand men/Minbar) of the 'King' (Sheridan) who's love for the Queen (Delen) lead to their downfall.

I'd say so, the Matrix with a far lower budget anyway...

...or (to nit pick) the corridor in the Matrix reminds me of a more expensive version of the one seen here in B5. After all B5 pre-dates the Matrix ;) wonder if the director or producers of the Matrix films are closet B5 fans....?
