Well, this was certainly an interesting episode. That Colonel was a real [jerk] don't you think? And I don't care that he was Psi-Corp, I liked Mr. Grey. He was an interesting character.

Mr. Grey is Weyone from DS9!

Weyoun is also Brunt.

I may be alone in believing this, but I thought Mr. Gray came across as a loser. You didn't need to be a telepath to figure out that Ivanova was being aggravated by his pestering her with his life story.

Great episode! The actor playing the Colonel did a great job making you hate him (I wanted to reach into my computer screen and strangle him), and Jeffrey Combs did a good job painting a portrait of Gray not as a loser, but as a tragic figure who wanted to do the type of thing Ivanova does, and is relegated to a position where the very people he looks up to hates him. The use of past continuity to set up this episode was also good. It reminded me of the Remmick portion of Coming of Age(TNG), but was way more suspenseful.

The subplot with the motorcycle was also cute.

"painting a portrait of Gray"

I think I'm legally required to hit you for that one, Luigi... :-)

Oh, wow, I didn't even notice that.
