Which episode was it where Londo met with one of the emperor's wives to discuss vision he had been having of him becoming emperor.

Londo is one of my favorite characters on the show. He runs the whole gambit of viewer's emotion. You can love him. You can hate him. You can pity him. You can cheer him on. He does such a wide variety of things during the show and changes dramatically over time.
My favorite moment was when he was about as low as he could get and Delenn goes and hugs him. This totally bewilders him. He felt he didn't deserve love from anyone at that point. I was lucky enough to bring this up to the actor during a live web chat. He went on a very long discourse on the subject. Apparently, it had an impact on him as well...

Gotta love those Centauri hairdoes!

Any race that goes around with their men with
peacock hair and their women nearly bald HAS
to have a great sense of humor.

Maybe Londo should open a hair salon on Narn!!!!:)

A good line in relation to the Centauri is one that Sheridan pulls out, something like 'The things I've heard would make my hair stand on end', and Delenn quips 'Well that would explain the Centauri.

When I first started watching (mid-season 1 in re-runs), I hated Londo. He was my least favorite character. I thought the hair looked silly, I found his accent annoying, and I disliked the character in general.

By the end of Season 4, he was among my favorite characters. He's very well-written and the actor who plays him (whose name escapes me) is great. Excellent character.

I introduced a friend of mine to B5 a while ago. Like me, he hated Londo at first. By the time "The Summoning" came around, his opinion had changed just like mine. I wonder if this is a normal response to the character. :)

Anon, JMS has said that many people pestered him to "get rid of the guy with the funny hair" after he made The Gathering. This didn't stop until season 2, which is when they started in on Sheridan. Hopefully, with the new show, people will trust him and his writing abilities a bit more :)

I always liked Londo in season 1 for his great one liners "The councal (sp) can go to hell, Commander Sinclair can go to hell, and YOU can go to hell because I wouldn't want for you to feel left out."

You can really feel for Londo when you see his reaction to his first time in Cartagia's court and he realises what a monster him and Refa had unleashed. He realises the consequences of some of the decisions he has made before like the totalling of two Narn outposts prior to the war, but when he sees the effects back home it's clear that he regrets most things.

Loved his moment when he has Morden dragged in and orders him to remove the shadow ships.
