My friends and I keep making jokes about JMS not getting any scenes involving female characters waking up late at night. We used to call them 'JMS loves CC'scens, but a) It wasn't very catchy and b) these scenes went to Lochley for season 5
I loved the fact that Ivanova was a lesbian character that was fully-developed and three-dimensional. I think she brought television's portrayal of women and lesbians a long way. It's too bad that Trek hasn't learned the lesson. I hated the fact that she left the show for a time.
Alfonso - wasn't she bisexual rather than lesbian? She'd had a boyfriend before the series started.
she was bisexual for one episode, and they didn't show a kiss - if that's not consercvatism, I don't know what is.
Left the show for a time? I thought she just left the show.
She did, but probably showing up in "Sleeping in Light" gave the illusion of "coming back", even though it was filmed at the end of the 4th season.
