Whoa! Saw Claudia today at a convention in Baltimore. She is a great con guest. She kept us all laughing, and was really cool during the autograph session as well, posing for pictures with the fans. (That's a con rarity). A word of caution though. Claudia can be a little salty. Definitely a PG-13 show. : )

Or even an R rated show if the fans have copies of her playboy layout for her to sign.
you ever seen the blooper reels? She uses the "F" word quite a bit, but then, so does everyone else
Wow, so not only is she a good actress who looks pretty and poses nude, but she also swares a lot I think I'm in love
Important news! Claudia Christian and Alexandra Tydings have a new project in development, a time travel show named Hourglass. Have a look.
According to the latest issue of the British SF/Fantasy Media Magazine SFX, she's recording a Startrek type "Spoof" show called "Star Hyke".
The Synopsis is of a 51st Century space vessel being flung back to the primitive 21st century after a space battle & their attempts to return back to their own time...
Her role is that of the Ship's captain
Belinda Blowhard...
In a magazine article that I read several years ago by JMS he said that Claudia was replaced in the fifth season of B5 due to her not being honorable with him regarding contract negotiations.I always enjoyed her acting on B5 & was sorry to see her go,but I was also sorry that she shafted JMS...as was he.
I don't think anyone will ever know the truth about why Claudia didn't appear in Season 5. Claudia blamed Joe; Joe blamed Claudia - and as Joe never takes the blame for anything wrong, it's hard to know who to sympathise with, apart from the fans.
True enough,as the late, great Ann Landers used to say "There's always two,& sometimes three, sides to a story." I was not aware that JMS had a reputation of never accepting blame for anything though, what do you base that upon?
From reading his entries on The Lurker's Guide. Whenever anyone made any kind of negative comment, even if meant kindly or helpfully, Joe would rip them a new one while defending himself so vehemently that it became clear that he just couldn't stand any criticism even if the comment was totally justified.
The problem with going on those is that we just see his responses to questions. At best, you get a brief summary of whatever he was responding to and usually not even that. For all we know, the posts he was replying to were from flame baiters. God knows Usenet is full of them.
Tons of misinformation, tons of disinformation online, that's for sure.
I saw her at Dragon*Con a few weeks ago. Didn't get a chance to say anything to her other than "hi, big fan, nice to meet you." She looks a bit older than she did on B5 but still beautiful and sexy. She even had copies of her racier photos to be signed.
I did read a little bit more about her contract issues that lead to her departure from the show in Season 5. During season 5 the show's budget was cut in the move to TNT. Part of how they made it up was rather than cutting actor's salary's per episode they cut the number of episodes that most actors would appear in. That way they could get the same cash per episode while the show could cut money from the budget. That's why there are several episodes of season 5 where major characters don't even make a token appearance, because they weren't being paid for that ep.
Claudia was the last main character to not sign up for season 5. When one of the trade publications reported on it the higher ups ordered Joe & Doug Netter to get it handled ASAP. Apparently she and her agent held out, insisting that she get paid for all 22 episodes even if she would not appear in all of them. They figured that since......
*************SPOILER************
........she had already shot "Sleeping in the Light" which wouldn't air until the end of season 5 they were stuck diving into her demands.
