This will be a set of DVDs consisting of 20-minutes stories that will develop the prominent characters that were previously established. G’Kar will obviously not feature, because of Andreas Katsulas’ death.

Shooting is likely to start in mid-November on the first DVD, entitled Voices in the Dark. Joe Straczynski is set to write, produce, and direct each ‘episode’.

Hold the Phone, I missed something. When did Andreas Katsula die? I knew about Dr. Franklin from the People article. Boy do I feel out of the loop.

Andreas died in February this year.

Joe Straczynski finished principal photography on the first DVD, Voices in the Dark, on 1 December.

The Lost Tales comes out on 31 July in the USA or 3 September in the UK. Apparently it will contain the first two stories, with more to follow in due course. Online stores such as amazon and play already have pre-order options up.

If any Brits have pre-ordered the first Lost Tales DVD through amazon.co.uk, check your order. Amazon have since dropped the price a little, and are now offering some free artwork with one version of the DVD, so it might be worth cancelling your earlier order and re-ordering.
