Will it be good, bad, or horrible? Only one way to find out.

Joe usually knows what he's doing, and isn't the sort of person to do it just for the cash. We can hope that it should be good.
What would be the point? Weren't all of the mysteries that drove the various plots revealed in the old series?
Star Trek, Battlestar Galactica, Stargate all had generic enough elements that reboots could work without feeling like a rerun of the previous series.
While I suppose JMS can invent new mysteries for the Alt-Universe Babylon 5 it just seems like they are trying to invoke the "'member berries" aspect rather than tell new stories with new characters & a new setting.
I agree to a point, Keith. If Russell T God came back to Doctor Who and started his new series with a re-cast Christopher Eccleston meeting a teenage girl called Rose, nobody (well, almost nobody) would approve or think it was a sensible move. Somehow, though, I tend to trust Joe and even though it seems strange to do a reboot rather than a new (or old, as in pre-original series) story, I still find myself looking forward to it.
I say that - I'm not sure I'll be able to see it in the UK without doing the bad thing and acquiring it via dodgy means.
Another reboot that nobody wanted or asked for.
Sometimes I wish they would pass a law, no more reboots. Hollywood would actually be forced to get creative again.
