Nitcentral's Bulletin Brash Reflections: Sliders: Season Four: Genesis
After months of trying to get to Earth Prime, and narrowly avoiding death, Maggie and Quinn slide into a war zone. It looks like San Francisco and Maggie has trouble breathing at first. They find the Mallory household and the Resistance against the Kromaggs. Months ago, the Kromaggs invaded Earth Prime and took Wade and Rembrandt away. They locate and rescue The Crying Man, but Wade was shipped to another undisclosed Earth for breeding. While spending time in a Kromagg prison, Quinn runs into his mother, who tells him that he is not the biological son of his late father and mother; his parents came from another Earth to leave him so as to be safe from the Kromaggs. But when the original parents came to retrieve him years ago (apparently after defeating the Kromaggs), she hid him, not wanting to lose her son. She also mentions that he has a microchip, called a "microdot", inside his arm with more information on his origins.
Rembrandt, Maggie and Quinn slide to the next Earth and Quinn removes and activates the microdot his natural parents hid in him that his mother told him about. It contains a message from Quinn's parents explaining everything... including the fact Quinn has a brother on another world. It also contains part of the coordinates of Quinn's true home-Earth and the Earth of his brother. The Sliders depart on their new journey, to rescue Earth from the Kromaggs and find Quinn's brother...

In this episode, Quinn claims that he and
the other three original Sliders used to
hang out at the Chandler Hotel. Wrong.
Up until this episode, they always met at the
Dominion Hotel.

Kind of spoiled it when the Krogmags invaded
Earth Prime because up to then Sliders' Earth
Prime was undoubtedly OUR Earth.Sort of the same
problem DC had in their Crisis On Infinite Earths
when Earth Prime Superboy announced he was the
only survivor.
Still enjoyable to watch.:)

I thought they had established a episode where Quinn's double had given the Kromaggs sliding technology. (the same one from the premiere). But now they make it sound like the Kromaggs were around way before Quinn was sliding and his father invented it. Did they explain this or just forget about the other Quinn.
