The Alternateville Horror

Nitcentral's Bulletin Brash Reflections: Sliders: Season Four: The Alternateville Horror
The Sliders are on a world when it starts to rain. They discover the rain is extremely acidic, so they take up residence in the Chandler hotel. The group, after meeting the very excited lady who runs the hotel, see a group leaving, screaming, out into the rain. A series of bizaare events plague everyone at the Chandler and a mysterious masked figure enters, demanding a room. Maggie sees a head in an ice maker, Colin sees a little boy, etc. At first, no one beleives Colin because he recently watched "Frankenstein" and he is from a "backwards" Earth. Colin follows the little boy into a room and disapperars and Maggie gets locked in the basement. Rembrandt rescues Maggie and the other three search the room where Colin disappeared. They discover a sliding vortex and the group discovers that the boy is the hotel operator's son. The masked figure is a young scientist who beleives the hauntings are caused by people from a parallel Earth. Quinn goes into the vortex after discovering that counterparts of themselves exist on the other side, trapped (including exotic dancer Maggie, punk rocker Quinn and a distinguished Rembrandt). Quinn finds a way to slide the alternate Sliders back to where they originated and he, the boy and Colin make it back to the Chandler Earth, barely escaping the collapsing vortex. The owner allows the Sliders to stay as long as they want, but they have to slide, and go on their way...

Ok, Ok, I'm the first post on this one. first thing first. It had been said by the hotel manager, that sometimes the rain eats through the wires, so the electricity goes, yet the buildings are in no danger of being eating away. Not all the buildings look like they were made of stone. If fact, some of them looked built of wood. If the rain smoked like that hitting the ground, I think the rain would be desolving the building materials. Second, it's just a big coincedence that it's a Maggie, Quinn, and Rembrandt from the other world, Maybe their Wade, or Professor could be with them. Though they didn't have their version of Colin. And there are duplicate Colins. Though Quinn said that Colin and the boy could have the quautom signitures. Maybe the boy is a younger Colin. Maybe?? Noticed that Rembrandt is the brain behind the sliding and Quinn is the singer. I bet Jerry O'Connel had fun with this character.
