World Killer
The Sliders leave an Earth where they got to sit back and watch a classic film. They slide, only to find themselves at the exact same spot... but everyhting is abandoned. There are no people around. Being in San Francisco, they go scope out the Mallory house. Eventually, they meet up with that world's Quinn. He was experimenting with the anti-gravity generator years ago and used a little too much power. A shockwave emanated which slid everyone else on Earth. The Sliders help him fix the device and use it to slide to a world where the Earth's population doubled to to the second Quinn's accident. A ruthless businessman (ala The Godfather) runs the largest crime organization on the planet, since the governments failed with the population explosion. The group meets a nun who leads the inhabitants of the original Earth. The Sliders eventually disable the "overlord"'s power source and slide everyone back to the original Earth. Rembrandt knocks out the businessman and the Sliders leave...
