This had to be one of the all-around WORST episodes ever! Aside from the obnixious ripoff of 'Species,' (although this entire season was rife with movie and book "homages") Quinn finally convinces himself that things are finally okay, that he isn't to blame for everything that happens around him.

Well, that's all well and good, but this time it IS his fault! I'm sorry, WHY did the parasite arrive in this world? Couldn't be due to SLIDING, could it?

So, what does our "hero" do? He lets the (admittedly) foolish woman get infected, and slides off to another adventure. Great.

Reminds me of the old Filmation "Journey to the Center of the Earth" cartoon, where the cast travelled from ancient civilization to ancient civilization, either triggering or simply happening across thier destruction! That's what I thought of with Quinn and pals when this one ended.

Ugh. Terrible, and it leaves a bad taste in my mouth even now!

Even the idea of forced organ donation was ••••••! I mean, can you image the 18-24 crowd actually submitting to this? I mean if our government tried to implement something like that, well, they'd probably have a civil war and/or massive uprising on their hands.

I don't buy for a second that anyone on that world would have accepted it.
