The Young and the Relentless

Nitcentral's Bulletin Brash Reflections: Sliders: Season Two: The Young and the Relentless
Plot Summary:
The group find themselves sliding into the backyard of an estate which belongs to the alternate Quinn and Wade. In this world, the youth took over in 1980 when they decided that the Social Security would bankrupt the economy. Baby boomers flooded the job market and older workers were forced to retire at the age of 30 to make way. Arturo and Rembrandt, both over thirty, are treated like second class citizens.

(Note: An alternate, unused ending of this episode would have shown that our heroes were being watched by an unknown, alien-looking creature which looked suspiciously like a Kromagg, possibly forshadowing what was to come....)

The reason the Kromagg ending wasn't used it because stupid Fox aired "The Invasion" after this episode, instead of before.
