Ok,was it ever resolved WHICH Arturo slid with
the Sliders at the end of EGG HEADS?

By Benjamin Daniel Cohen (Bcohen) on Saturday, August 26, 2000 - 5:07 pm:

According to Tracy Torme, it was the wrong one.

Oh, and the episode was "Post Traumatic Slide Syndrome", not "Eggheads".

I always figured it was the wrong one by the look of horror on the face of the Arturo who was left behind. It was as if he was thinking that Quinn and the others just left with a mad man.

But now that seems to be wrong...the last episode of season 5 seems to imply it was the right one...since the Seer never says anything about it being the wrong Arturo.

By Mirror Quinn on Sunday, August 27, 2000 - 10:40 am:

Unfortunately I missed out on the last few episodes of season myself. I guess they could have done that just bring closure to the storyline (if there ever planning to go in the direction of them having the wrong Aturo in the first place).

By Ljamilkowski (Ljamilkowski) on Monday, September 18, 2000 - 5:30 pm:

Yeah, but it doesn't mean that the Seer was right. I always got the idea that his mind was connected with Quinn, and that wherever Quinn went, in whatever form, the Seer was able to see. So that could explain away the Seer's comments and Torme's comments.

By Rene on Friday, September 22, 2000 - 7:55 am:

That could be it....And for the record, I also believe it was the wrong one.

By ScottN on Friday, September 22, 2000 - 9:07 am:

If so, the "real" Arturo got lucky, considering what Rickman did in Exodus Pt II.

I really enjoyed this series with its premise of alternate Earths in parallel dimensions. The original cast was magical, even when they were dealing with inferior scripts from time to time. But as the series went on,the writing seemed to get worse.Tracy Torme said that the FOX TV execs were a negative interference in that regard & sadly it shows as a once promising, fun.engaging series went down hill.One-by-one three of the four original cast members left until only Remy remained. The new cast additions just did not have the chemistry together, though the women were certainly quite attractive & decent actors.I stayed with this show until its final episode, hoping that somehow, someway they'd recapture lightning in a bottle again with the writing. Some intriguing concepts did turn up,but not enough to make this the classic TV series which it should & could have been. The networks never learn.
