Prior to the cause of the forcefield being revealed as a Kromagg machine, I expected it to have been caused by Wade.
I guess Jennifer Hetrick's character on Slideology world is a double of her character from "Last Days".
I guess the creative staff of the series decided tthey would state once and for all that Max and Wade are dead.
Can someone please tell me what happened on the final episode?
I just moved, and didn't realize I needed to pay extra for Sci-fi!!!
Go to the Sci Fi Channel synopsis link. That should help. As for spoilers, I presume you've seen the episode if you're here.
The henchmen in the episode take a light from the hotel and smash the timer, which is irrepairable. Remmy is given blood from one of the Earth's inhabitants (the blood contains the anti-Kromagg virus). Unforutantely, the Kromagg Sliding machine on the Earth they are on is damaged enough only one person can go, and in haste, Rembrandt injects himself with the blood and slides, though they know it will probably mean the death of him. The other three are left behind to wonder what to do next, with security forces on the way to the warehouse of Kromagg technology. Mrs. Mallory is depressed that she can not hold her son one more time. Everyone is shocked and Maggie is in tears. That is what happens at the end. Oh, and the Seer passes away as Remmy slides.
Why do they end the series like this? It leaves so many unanswered questions, and apparently only Remy makes it through the slide to wherever!
If the Seer could really see into the future, he should have known all this was going to happen.
The Seer didn't see into the future - he only saw what was happening at that moment to the Sliders.
Er...Remember how he "foresaw" that the Sliders would die the next time they slide.
Er...Remember how he "foresaw" that the Sliders would die the next time they slide.
He could only see into the future when they were in the vortex though, not on the world (I think). And the future thing comes and goes as I recall, though I could well be mistaken.
