The Angels lauch with Destiny, Harmony and Melody, but are Destiny, Rhapsody and Symphony by the time they arrive at Najama.
And that meteorite crash is awful.

Why do the Mysterons need to plant a homing device in the temple? I thought the Mysterons only had to steer the SKR4 onto its target.

I agree bit of a silly idea.

By Paul Joyce on Monday, July 08, 2002 - 2:11 pm:

And considering that the Mysterons have always been able to produce genuine voices, why did the navigator's voice come out all flat and robotic?

Seems continuity was thrown out the window mainly so that this episode could exist.

Why did this episode remind me of 'White as Snow'?

I missed the beginning, so if they knew the satellite was heading for the deselanisation plant, why didn't they send an Angel to intercept a la WaS?

OF course, I wish I could have seen the debriefing of this mission (WHITE: You did WHAT? You destroyed a historical monument, only for the missile to STILL destroy the plant??)

And finally, did anyone else notice the statue emit a belch of flame from its backside as it toppled forward? (I know, I'm 22 but I'm still allowed to enjoy childish humour! :))

And despite all that, I still enjoyed this - perhaps because of the amusing alternative version I thought of (partially involving Black stealing Blue's uniform as he sleeps :)

By Paul Joyce on Monday, July 08, 2002 - 3:53 pm:

Never mind a belch of flame, Philip, the statue actually exploded...too many baked beans me thinks

That was a pathetic show from Spectrum. Just because it's an irrigation plant they slacked off.

:)

According to the "biographies" of the characters, most of the Spectrum agents can be considered scientists of one sort or another. Yet they seemed to think that if they could destroy the homing device with just seconds to spare, the SKR4 would promptly go wobbling off course. The homer needed to be MOVED, not destroyed. I'm no physicist, but even I could see that once locked on target, the SKR4 would continue on course unless deflected. They should have had the Angels attack the SKR4. Even a near miss might have been enough to deflect it.

I love the way the Angels bombing the temple achieves nothing, it hardly damages it, and yet:

SCARLET - Well, the statue is the only thing still standing.

Cut back to where the temple was only 2 seconds ago, and its a great big pile of rubble?!?!!

I wonder what Ochre and Magenta were doing whilst everything was going to pot with Blue and Scarlet at the helm.

Erm... since when were the Aztecs in Peru??? The desalinization plant is said to be at the base of the Andes. The Andes (the Cordierella)runs from Ecuador in the north, down through Peru and down into Chile. Parts of it is shared with Bolivia. Aztecs were in Mexico. Mayans were in Meso-America. Incas were in Peru. Why does this temple look Mayan? Oh well... *sigh*
