When is Frazer mysteronised?
What does he do once he''s left the bomb?
Drive to Mars?

By Kinggodzillak on Monday, November 19, 2001 - 1:15 pm:

As Frazer drives along, the outside window shows that the path he is taking is perfectly level ground.
Once again, as seen in Lunarville 7, Blue can't stop the vehicles without being told to by Scarlet. This time, however, the order comes too late.
The terms Lunar Tank and Lunar Tractor seem to be attributed to the wrong vehicles.

'To Linda Nolan : the CB-29 Neptune Probe, July 10th, 2058. We made it, ahead of schedule'

How the heck do you get all that on the lucky charm?

It seemed peculiar that Frazer would comment on Scarlet's appearance. "A brave man--and very good looking." Hmmmm.

Considering Linda Nolan's position at Lunarville 6, I don't think that she should have been addressed as "Miss". "Doctor" would probably have been more on the mark.

It certainly seemed that Linda Nolan had a crush on Captain Scarlet, but who can blame her, after all for a puppet, Captain Scarlet is handsome, I mean if he was human he'd be handsome for sure. It would have been nice to see Linda Nolan tell Captain Scarlet of her feelings for him before he left the to go back to Earth.

Captain Scarlet's pretence of hesitating before agreeing to go on the mission wouldn't have fooled anyone, considering that he was raring to go right from the get-go.

Those ugly glasses that Linda Nolan was wearing look like the same ones that Angela Davis wears in an episode of Joe 90.

Tch, tch, tch! None of the boys bothered to wear their seat belts in the moonmobile!

It's no wonder that Lt. Green missed the control vehicle with his first shot. Captain Scarlet ordered him to fire without asking if Green had it lined up in his sights. The second time, he more sensibly left it entirely up to the Lieutenant.

You know, it might have bought them some more time if someone had thought to put on his space suit and go out to help Lt. Green get them out of the ditch!

After Scarlet manages to make it out of the exploding crator, Captain Blue comments "What a guy!" I read recently that, in Britain, that phrase would actually be considered an insult. (BTW, does the insulting nature of the word "guy" date back to Guy Fawkes?)

Wonder if Captain Scarlet noticed that Linda Nolan was no longer wearing her glasses? Probably not.

And did he buy Lt. Green all those coconuts...?

>>"What a guy!" I read recently that, in Britain, that phrase would actually be considered an insult.

Is it? Oh. I didn't know that. :)

Can't remember where I read it, either, just that I read it! :) (I think it had to be something to do with Supermarionation, because I think that it cited this very scene.)

I can also remember reading, a long time ago, a story where an English woman was explaining how bad she looked in the past: "You can't imagine what a guy I looked."

Perhaps it's a regional thing.

Speaking for all British people, I have never heard of such a thing. 'Guy' is not commonly used here, but it's certainly not insulting.
