Most of the Angel jet crashes shake the scenery significantly.
He he thats funny
i like things like Fire at rig 15 were the ire looks like it blew the roof of the warehouse
another cool explosion is the one in Place of the angels with the gasoline tanker
Notice, also, the abandoned Spectrum car--it gets hit and is on fire, then suddenly it's untouched, then it's on fire again.
AND - the wah wah wah music put in an appearance. Ugh. Doesn't go with Captain Scarlet.
I used to think half the budget of most Gerry Anderson programmes went on pyrotechnics. This was in the days when Granada used to show them on Sunday Mornings at 9:30.
Isn't the last line hilarious.
One Question ?
How did the "Mysteronised" Angel Interceptors, get ammunition for their guns ? Presumeably, the shippers don't load the rocket cannon beforehand,(Presumeably,it's done at Cloudbase),so how can they shoot at/down the "Spectrum" Angel Interceptors ?
Strictly speaking, they can only attack (The Angels) by ramming !
When Melody takes off from Cloudbase, it looks as though there are already pilots in the other two planes, but then they show Harmony and Rhapsody going up into their planes.
At one point, when the three on the ground are attacked and there is flying debris, Captain Scarlet shoves Destiny down. Unfortunately, he shoves her in the direction of the oncoming debris. Destiny is understandably shaken when he asks if she's all right. She should have said, "No thanks to you!"
Harmony shows great presence of mind, calling the bandit aircraft's location to Rhapsody while parachuting down.
Does Destiny have incredibly keen eyesight, or were they somehow listening in on the radio signals? How did she know that it was Melody who flew the crash dive?

It makes me want to pull my face off.
Do you suppose that they might pick Harmony up on their long walk to Cloudbase?
