Unless I'm mistaken, the base Concord operator whom Reeves shoots is also the same puppet that comes to investigate with the base commander (Frazer from Crater 101)

I realised that as soon as I posted, couldn't get here to change it.

Major Reeves did more than just look around Cloudbase. He pinched Scarlet's gun as a souvenir!:)

Does it bother anyone that the control room door has both a lock and a button on the outside that can blow the door off its hinges?

Why not just leave off the lock? :)

Was anyone else bothered by how slowly they tried out the passwords? It sounded as though they were in a spelling bee. First one would spell out the word, THEN the other would punch it in. Why not punch it while the first man is reciting the letters? (I think that Scarlet and Blue finally did do it that way at the end.) I could have punched in five passwords in the time it took them to do just one.

And how, exactly, did the password ZERO work? Was it that the original board tipped over in the water and landed on the Cancel button, or was it that someone recited the word Zero at the last moment?

This has the sloppiest ending of any SM episode I've seen.

We are left to assume, DKH, that the unit was indeed activated by it tipping over and landing on the 'destruct' button. A much more satisfactory ending would've been for the Base Commander or somebody to have mentioned near the start that the VGR was still in final development - and had the explosion caused by a mechanical failure through lack of testing. Colonel White would then explain this to Scarlet and Blue at the end.

BruteForce hacking at it's worst... yea, that entire scene of trying to figure out the •••••• code just drove me insane!

When Melody went after the Major and he suddenly looped up and behind her, suddenly she was no longer wearing her goggles. When she was actually hit, she was wearing them again. No wonder he was able to hit her so easily. Fiddling around with her goggles instead of concentrating on the job in hand! (After she ejects, she takes them off again.)

Did they honestly think that they could persuade a Mysteron agent to tamely follow them back to the base and set down? Actually, I think that the base would have been destroyed before they could even do so. Rhapsody can take comfort in the fact that she, actually, saved the base by forcing the Major to crash.
