Secret of the Giant Oyster

Nitcentral's Bulletin Brash Reflections: Supermarionation: Stingray: Secret of the Giant Oyster

Interesting that when those two treasure hunters tell WASP about the possibility of a giant pearl being down below, WASP instantly lays claim to it. Very greedy, don't you think?

The whole idea of the little oysters fighting for the return of the pearl is ridiculous. Pearls represent detritus to an oyster, a foreign, irritating substance that must be coated over since they do not have hands to remove it. If it could, an oyster would probably breathe a sigh of relief at being rid of that annoying lump. Incidently, while recovered pearls can keep for thousands of years, pearls left in the oyster will decay away in five or six years.

So those divers put their guns in the launch tube just because Troy told them too? How nice of them. And how nice of them not to take off in Stingray once the little oysters had left.

I wonder which officer tied the would-be thieves up, since Marina was there to do it for them. Or did they just wait until she came back?
