Didn't the puppet designers for this ep. realize that the bad guys are supposed to be nasty looking? These guys looked too darn cute!

That professor was awfully obnoxious. Twice he asked people to provide him with something THAT DOESN'T EXIST YET! The only possible reason that I can see for his doing so was to put them down, which was a mean-minded thing to do. And why didn't he simply tell them that his experiment would require an explosive reaction? Arrogant twit apparently thought the WASPs were too brainless to understand.

Nothing like having less than twenty-four hours to invent a whole new metal alloy. If they needed a hard substance to penetrate the alien craft before the warhead exploded, why didn't they just cover the head of the missile with diamonds, known to be the hardest substance on Earth?

I liked Commander Shore's speech to the captured aliens at the end. Apparently the Professor did, too. And I loved how they came together at the very end and began chatting in a friendly fashion.

Good idea, but it would probably bankrupt the WASPs.

Just borrow some industrial diamonds. They could always collect them and give them back afterwards.
