When A-14 is being chased, why doesn't he slightly open the case, and toss it out the car window onto the car chasing him? He might be caught in the blast, but not as badly as being smashed thru a car window.

A few things about Mac's newspaper. First off, its the same one from Edge of Impact, as the headline about Colonel Casey can be seen. The first page is folded over and we can see that the third page is identical to the first, and also when we look over Mac's shoulder it is really obvious that the newspaper has just been turned round.

This business of Joe not knowing anything about the brain patterns until long after he's absorbed them, is on par with Captain Scarlet's "sixth sense", which came and went at the convenience of the storyline. The moment Joe exited the "rat trap" he should have said, "Harry Sloan is your traitor. How do you want to handle this?"

For that matter, the moment he put the glasses on at the airport, he should have said, "Dad! Harry Sloan is a double agent!" They give no explanation for why Joe kept the information to himself. They could have had him say at the end that he was afraid that his father would abort the mission if he knew the truth.

Presumably they had a ticket arranged for him--to Tehran. How did he get a ticket to Paris? How did he even know that there was a flight to Paris that day?

The scene in Shane Weston's office, where they all suddenly began hurling accusations at each other, was quite well done.

That business about the C48 red priority order was ridiculous. Only Mac, Sam and Shane know about Joe. What was WIN HQ going to tell the agents? "Be on the lookout for a little boy, nine years old, with short blond hair and heavy glasses. Shoot him on sight."

Yeah, right.

If WIN HQ knows so much about what is going on, why didn't they order Shane and Sam to activate the remote destruct? Afraid of harming innocent bystanders? Like shooting a little boy in public wouldn't be equally risky?

Joe obviously wanted to lure out the traitors so he could have them blown to bits, as is his wont. :)

I just wish that they'd mentioned it somewhere in the show. You'd think that at least one of the grownups would have asked Joe, "Why didn't you tell us?"

Sam had stated that Customs had been "taken care of" for the trip to Tehran. However, Joe went to Paris. How did he get that case on board without it being searched? And searched again on the flight to Copenhagen?
