By Adam on Thursday, November 22, 2001 - 9:23 am:

Are you sure Volume 1 of Terrahawks is called Spectacula Space Video ? I know it's on the cover of the Channel 5 version but I have the Precision video version of volumes 1 & 2, 3 & 4 are Channel 5, 5 & 6 and the remaining 15 episode never released are on 2 tapes. I have always thought it was called Expect the Unexpected because at the start of the first episode it says "Expect the Unexpected"
And what is your oppion on Terrahawks ?

By Adam on Thursday, November 22, 2001 - 11:32 am:

Ignore my spelling mistake I meant to say opinion
instead of oppion.

By Kinggodzillak on Friday, November 23, 2001 - 12:38 pm:

I've never seen Terrahawks, though I may be soon. I just assumed that it was a film with no title.

By Adam on Saturday, November 24, 2001 - 10:56 am:

If you are going to see Terrahawks make sure you don't see "Play it Again Sram" first belive me it is very poor.

By Kinggodzillak on Saturday, November 24, 2001 - 12:33 pm:

The Intergalactic Singing Competition one?

By Adam on Saturday, November 24, 2001 - 2:34 pm:

Yes and Zelda, Yungstar, Cystar and Sram in a rock band, rubbish. you might want to know that Kate Kestral's song is called S.O.S Mr Tracy.

By Kinggodzillak on Saturday, November 24, 2001 - 4:16 pm:

Yes I had heard of that one. But I didn't know that THEY were the band.
Ugh.
And a •••••• Casablanca ripoff title that isn't even right!
And I don't just mean Sram

By Kinggodzillak on Saturday, November 24, 2001 - 4:16 pm:

That censored word was s t u p i d. Silly thing. Its done this to me before.

By DJU on Saturday, November 24, 2001 - 4:51 pm:

••••••

By Adam on Sunday, November 25, 2001 - 1:09 am:

If you ever get the chance to see all the episodes including the missing episodes here is the list that I found rubbish and I think you will agree.
Play It Again Sram,
Midnight Blue,
Space Giant,
Cry UFO,
A Christmas Miracle,
Space Cyclops,
Operation Zero and
Runaway
If you want to know why just ask.

By Adam on Sunday, November 25, 2001 - 1:18 am:

It's also annoying that Kate Kestrel came up with a song about Thunderbirds way before International Rescue was even in the rescue business, it doesn't matter what year you belive Thunderbirds to be set in 2026 or 2065
Terrahawks was set in 2020.

By Joe King on Sunday, November 25, 2001 - 7:41 am:

Was Jeff Tracy known by 2020? I did once see in a Thunderbirds annual a timeline but I can't remember any specific dates.

By Adam on Sunday, November 25, 2001 - 7:57 am:

I don't know, but no one had ever heard of International Rescue until their first mission, years after Terrahawks.

By Kinggodzillak on Sunday, November 25, 2001 - 1:29 pm:

That whole alternate ending to the second Scarlet film is silly. The entire film is declared void, which includes the beginning and end of the serie, so therefore the other Scarlet film can never have occured either!

By Kinggodzillak on Sunday, November 25, 2001 - 1:31 pm:

And why are those Terrahawks eps silly?

By Adam on Sunday, November 25, 2001 - 2:22 pm:

Here's why
Play it again Sram = Why would Zelda waste her times singing a song when she could just send Sram in the cave and roar like thunder killing everyone in the cave (Where the contest took place on an asteroid.)
Midnight Blue = I have nothing wrong with the plot I just didn't like it. Space Giant = I don't think SpaceHawk would allow a ship carrying A Sporilla (Under Zelda's control) to earth, they knew a Sporilla was on board, also when the Sporilla looks inside the GroundHawk the smaller version of Mary is one of the action figures they made back in the eighties, why not use the tiny figurines they used in Supermarionation shows.
Cry UFO = This hole episode was about Stew Dappels and belive me he is the most annoying character in Terrahawks plus I can't stand the chef and waitress in the cafe.
A Christmas Miracle = First Zelda and the Terrahawks at war on the moon, then Yung-star, Cy-star and the Terrahwks were having a party in SpaceHawk then the worst part of all Zelda dressing up like a harlot kissing Ninestine.
Space Cyclops = the cyclops itself is disappointing and there was a s,tupid custard pie fight between Stew Dapples and a drunk.
Operation Zero = Zero having a dream and no one likes a dream episode Ninestine and Mary's voices and later heads and bodies are swapped with Yung-star and Cy-star and later Zelda and Kate suffered the same.
Runaway = another episode with the chef and waitress (From Cry UFO) Yungstar running away from home who also dies at the end Zelda starts to cry (Even though she never cared one bit about him.) She also forgets she could reclaim him with her power to control matter until It-star say "He is most certainly dead" s,tupid Android.
All the other episodes were fine, but why should Tony Barwick come up with this •••• when he could of done more episodes like the ones he did for Thunderbirds, Scarlet, Joe 90 and the Secret Service.
I guess Tony was so embarrassed with these episodes he used fake prank names like Mary Itstine, Cubby Decstine and more like that.
What was he drinking.

By Adam on Sunday, November 25, 2001 - 2:24 pm:

I think you know what the four letter word is but belive me they are.

By Adam on Sunday, November 25, 2001 - 2:32 pm:

I found nothing wrong with the Captain Scarlet VS The Mysterons ending it's more realistic that the Mysterons decided to call off the invasion instead of ending the show while still carrying out threats. The same thing happened with Terrahawks both series should of had a last episode where the Aliens either die or give up fighting.

By Kinggodzillak on Sunday, November 25, 2001 - 2:38 pm:

Yeah, but it makes the entire series and the other film worthless, since the first and last attacks are included. Though it was a brave attempt to end it, cos no Anderson series actually was.
I didn't know Yungstar died. But I haven't seen Terrahawks, so...

By Kinggodzillak on Sunday, November 25, 2001 - 2:40 pm:

Were the movies generally different from the actual original episodes?

By Adam on Monday, November 26, 2001 - 12:55 am:

I haven't seen an unedieted version of any Terrahawks episodes on the six volumes but I have seen 15 minutes of Gunfight at Okay's Corral(Episode 3 on Terror from Mars volume 3) and all i saw that was new was the title writer's name and director's name all they did that was edited was delete the tile off the print.
I only have Thunderbirds To the Rescue, In Outer Space, Countdown to Disaster and Captain Scarlet Revenge of the Mysterons from Mars and Captain Scarlet VS the Mysterons but alot was edited out of them and had extra music and even added laser beams for Scarlet which were brilliant they also used it for Stingray.
If you already know Doctor "Tiger" Ninestine is a clone with nine lives that proves he is like Scarlet but not really, it's about the episode Gold (Episode 3 on Flaming Thunderbolts volume 5) do you want to know now or do you want to wait?

By Kinggodzillak on Monday, November 26, 2001 - 3:16 pm:

I know of the episode Gold. It was the third / last episode, depending on what order the broadcasters wanted.
I know of the:

_/\_/\_/\_/\_/\__________________________________

By Adam on Tuesday, November 27, 2001 - 12:44 am:

That was the first and only time Ninestine was killed so it doesn't prove that he is like Captain Scarlet does it.
I don't think Gold would of been good as a third episode because Thunder Roar is like a sequel to Expect the Unexpected part 2 but then again Gold would be right in any episode accept 39 because even though there was only eight left he was still called Ninestine instead of Eightstine.

By Kinggodzillak on Friday, April 05, 2002 - 5:36 pm:

Most people aren't as appreciative of the laser additions as you, Adam...... :)

By Adam on Thursday, April 11, 2002 - 8:03 am:

I found nothing wrong with them, sure it ruined it for the hole story but editing them together to make one episode from 4 episodes ruined it as well but I have the thunderbirds ones and the scarlet ones, I’ve just got use to them.

By Kinggodzillak on Tuesday, October 29, 2002 - 2:54 pm:

In Revenge of the Mysterons from Mars, during the scene from Lunarville 7 where the Spectrum team confront the Lunar Controller, a brief segment is played from what seems to be a cover version of the Scarlet theme. Does anyone have any more info on this piece?

By Paul Joyce on Tuesday, October 29, 2002 - 4:35 pm:

I think it's the same version that's played over the end titles. But I can only assume it was created especially for the compilation.

By Kinggodzillak on Wednesday, October 30, 2002 - 4:16 pm:

No, I'm sure its not that version. That was on the start of CS vs the Mysterons as well. I have on me PC somewhere.

By Kinggodzillak on Tuesday, December 03, 2002 - 2:09 pm:

OK, Adam, your criticisms:

>>Play it again Sram = Why would Zelda waste her times singing a song when she could just send Sram in the cave and roar like thunder killing everyone in the cave (Where the contest took place on an asteroid.)

Cos she wanted to have some fun, and treat us to the adorable sight of Sram in a T-Shirt, playing the drums. :)

>>Midnight Blue = I have nothing wrong with the plot I just didn't like it.

It wasn't great, and at the mo I can't remember how it ends, which show how little I thought of it.

I thought 101 explained that the ship most likely had some little creature that lots of the miners bring back as pets.

>>A Christmas Miracle = First Zelda and the Terrahawks at war on the moon, then Yung-star, Cy-star and the Terrahwks were having a party in SpaceHawk then the worst part of all Zelda dressing up like a harlot kissing Ninestine.

I liked the battle, and I can believe Yungstar and Cystar WOULD go and party with the Terrahawks if they were offered it.But the Zelda bits, er yes.

>>Space Cyclops = the cyclops itself is disappointing and there was a s,tupid custard pie fight between Stew Dapples and a drunk.

I thought the Cyclops was good. The fight wasn't too bad either.

>>Operation Zero = Zero having a dream and no one likes a dream episode Ninestine and Mary's voices and later heads and bodies are swapped with Yung-star and Cy-star and later Zelda and Kate suffered the same.

I agree, the only good points were the refinery explosion and the Zeroid sickbay. And 0's reaction to 101 on the table. :)

Sorry, I see no problem with the chef and waitress, and I like the ep generally.
