The third appearance of the Subterrans.

I found it difficult to believe that even robot miners could so undermine an entire planet to the point where it became a hazard. And even if they could, what harm would it cause? Why not post an beacon explaining the hazard and leave it at that? I should think that destroying a planet and creating a great big empty in space would be more hazardous in the long run.

As on another occasion, Steve Zodiac examines a microscopic portion of the planet and renders his verdict. After seeing and commenting on flowers growing nearby, Venus states that it's good that there is no life on the planet!

Seeing the planetary surface breaking and crumbling all around them, Steve and Venus nonchalantly zip down into a mine shaft. Potential Darwin award nominees.

Just what were the Subterrans doing on the planet, anyway? Just taking a vacation? Although they were quick to take advantage of the situation, their reactions indicated that they did not know that Steve Zodiac would be there.

Commander Zero (and every inhabitant of Space City's newest amusement park ride, Spin City Tower) had every right to be furious at Zoonie. However, he (and they) should have been even more angry with Venus. Just how long has she had this thing, anyway? If he's smart enough to mimic words, he's smart enough to be taught how to behave, and that's her responsibility.

Steve sure caved in under Venus' tears awful fast. I was expecting him to look at the camera and say "Isn't that just like a woman?" And the equal rights movement takes another giant step back....

Is Steve's gun only useful for knocking people out? Couldn't it have been used to blast out the rock?

Since when do they leave the radio frequency hanging open, so that Space City can hear anything and everything they say in Fireball?

The reaction to the supposed death of Zoonie was quite well done, although I think that Commander Zero's comment was a little labored and obvious.

On the other hand, Venus should not have waited until Zoonie stammered out his "Howdy". She should have reacted the instant she heard his voice. Were they not allowed to have voices overlap each other?

I found the answer to my question above--no, they were not allowed to have voices overlap each other. Not even when it would have been appropriate for the situation. I wonder why?

Steve's gun is called a coma ray more often than not so its only supposed to be good for knocking people out. But on several occasions it causes damage to metal or seems to have a kill setting. It's not very consistently applied.
