The two robots from The Granatoid Tanks are reused in this episode.

Which had originally come from the Supercar ep 'The Lost City'

I didn't know that as I haven't seen a Supercar episode for almost 10 years and I don't intend to start a collection of it because I know I won't be able to collect all the episodes.

I don't have the ep either, but heard it somewhere!

An egomaniac's dream. A world where everyone says and does just what you want them to. No need to waste time considering other people's feelings and desires. A world where you know that you are the smartest person around. I really wish that Steve & Co. had made some of these comments, or similar ones, while they were on trial, or during the final confrontation.

Why was Himber bothering to kidnap robots in the first place? He seemed to be doing a good job building his own.

Himber commented that Robert was perhaps the finest example of robotkind around. If that's the case, then they're really in trouble!

It was pretty silly of them to leave Robert stretched out on the table in Professor Matic's workshop. He was obviously being "worked on" so of course Himber would take a close look to see what was being done.

Except for the opening credits, the XL5 crew was always inside the ship when they were lined up for take-off. Where was the crew of XL1? When were they going to get on board?

That was quite a long trip to Robotvia. Three months? Presumably it would take less time to return, since they would not need to track Robert, but that's still a good chunk of a year gone.

Himber is definitely not as smart as he thinks he is. Leaving Professor Matic, inventor of the peerless Robert :) to mess around with his robots without supervision was unwise, to say the least. It also didn't seem to occur to Himber that if his paralyzing tank had fired through that hole in the wall, he probably would have been affected, too.

I wonder how they got home? Did they let Robert and the other four robots have XL1 to themselves, or did they divy up the human crew?
